Ideal for the outdoor adventurer, this compact all-conditions axe. With a longer handle than the original and a forged steel head, the Gator axe has ideal striking force. The grippy handle also houses a coarse blade handsaw. The handle is made of glass-filled nylon and covered in Gerber's Gator texture. It offers a better and more comfortable grip in wet and muddy conditions. The blade handsaw is held in place magnetically, for sawing branches and brush. It's a rugged and lightweight camping essential. The Axe: Forged steel head and Gator-grip handle with an overall length of 15.80", blade length of 2.70" and weighs 28 oz. The Saw: Overall length of 10.24", blade length 8.10" and weighs 2.4 oz.
